[OPIC] 5. Trip

Q1. Have you ever traveled overseas? If so, please describe one of the counties or cities that you have visited. If not, pick a foreign country or city that you'd like to visit, and describe to me why you'd like to go there.

I've been to the philippines. I went there to study english for just three months. But I changed my mind to stay longer. Anyway I stayed there for about 8 months. It's underdeveloped country like 40 years ago Korea. They are pool that's why the buildings are very old and low. They are lack of facilities. It's dangerous to live there especially in night time. It's a little bit inconvenient. The thing I was surprised is there are many big cockroaches on floors and walls in even rooms. I see it in Korea once in a blue moon. But it's natual there. There are lots of things I don't like, however there are lots of things I like as much things as I don't like. There is a band in each restuarant so I can listen their live music and it's hard to go that kind of restaurants. I had much fun there with my friends talking and listening the music. The sea is very cristal clear. So I did snorkeling frequently to see what's going on with inside the sea. I especially love the prices, which is cheaper than korean prices. So I didn't worry about the money to enjoy. We can eat anything we want, we can go anywhere we want in a cheap price. If I'm given a chance to go there, I wanna visit there again. The local people looked very happy even though they don't have much money or good house. I think they can be satisfied with what they have. I think that's the thing korean should learn from them.
